Community Champions

What is a Community Champion?

This is your opportunity to honor a community servant, community organization or an individual in the DeKalb community who tirelessly volunteers his or her service for the betterment of DeKalb County. Please complete the nomination form on the back of this page and return it to The Champion office by August 5, 2011.

A panel of civic, corporate, and government volunteers as well as members of The Champion Newspaper staff will select the winners. Recipients will receive substantial monetary gifts to help further their efforts in the county. Winners will be honored at the Celebration of Community Champions Gala luncheon on September 10, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia Hotel.
