Champions to the Rescue--Here’s how to help

Flooding has greatly affected the lives of many DeKalb County residents who were inundated during the area’s recent torrential rainfall.
We know that many of our readers want to help. So do we.
Join us in donating cash, gift cards from local hardware and home improvement stores, gas stations, grocery stores and sending them to us for distribution to families in DeKalb County who’ve been hit the hardest. We’ve gotten the ball rolling, collecting donations from the Champion staff.
We’re teaming up with the Stone Mill Manor Homeowners Association in Lithonia to assist some of our neighbors hit hardest by this natural disaster.
Donations will go directly to DeKalb flood victims.
To make cash or check donations, visit any Wachovia Bank and make deposits to account # 2000042479710. Checks should be made payable to: Stone Mill Manor Flood Victims.
