Man killed in shooting at apartment complex

A man is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting Wednesday outside an apartment complex in Clarkston, DeKalb County police said.
The shooting, which happened outside at 774 Northern Ave., was called in to police at about 11:30 p.m., police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said. The names of the victims are not being released yet, she said.
Police arrived at the scene and found one person shot, she said. He was transported to a local hospital and was last reported to be in critical condition.
Another person showed up at DeKalb Medical Center with gunshot injuries and later died, Parish said. Detectives determined both people were injured in the same shooting, she said.
Police are still trying to sort out what happened at the apartment complex, she said.
