The Georgia High School Association state swim meet and the sectional wrestling tournaments have been rescheduled because of expected snow of Friday and possible icy conditions on Saturday. All basketball games slated for Feb. 12 or Feb. 13 also have been cancelled.

The state swim meet has been rescheduled to Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 16 and 17, at Westminster School in Atlanta. Preliminary races begin at 10 a.m.on Feb. 16 for the A-AAAA meet. Finals for the Class AAAAA meet begin at 6 p.m. Finals for the A-AAAA meet begin at 6 p.m. on Feb. 17.

The East State Sectional wrestling tournaments involving DeKalb County teams will be held at the following schools: AAAA, Union Grove; AAAA, Loganville; AAA, Riverwood; and AA, Sonoraville. Preliminary rounds begin at 10 a.m. on Feb. 16 and the semifinals and consolation quarterfinals begin at 6 p.m. Matches begin on Feb. 17 at 9 a.m. with the finals scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

For basketball, non-region games will not be rescheduled and region games that have no bearing on the seeding of the region tournaments will not be made up.
