A well deserved shout out to DeKalb Co. D.A. Robert James, Emory Law School and Emory University for providing this timley forum. Elder Abuse is a serious problem in our state and across the country. The best way to combat abuse, neglect and exploitation is to know it when you see it, report it, and ensure those responsible for the maltreatment are brought to accountability and justice. We are very fortunate in DeKalb Co. to have a District Attorney committed to making a difference; one that puts his words into action.
