Missing Dunwoody man located
Andrew Lichtenstadter, 21, was located May 22 by Atlanta Police near Hartsfield Jackson Airport. He was later transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in good condition and is now with his family.
Dunwoody Police said Lichtenstadter’s family reported him as missing after he walked out of a restaurant he and his family were dining at near Ashford Dunwoody Road.
According to a police statement, Lichtenstadter is mentally challenged. The release stated that his family gave him time to “cool off” after leaving the restaurant but when they went outside to look for him he was gone.
It is unknown how Lichtenstadter made it to the airport.
Clarkston reopens Milam Park pool
The city of Clarkston is celebrating the grand reopening of its pool at Milam Park May 25, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The pool, which has been closed for several years, has been completely renovated. Admission is free and the event will feature live music and food.
Clarkston residents can bring a city tax bill or utility bill to prove residency and receive a discount resident pass for future use. Attendees will also be able to sign up for swim lessons and aerobic classes and enter to win a free season pass.
