Pedestrian killed on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard
A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning (Jan. 27) after being struck by several vehicles on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
The man was walking northbound on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard just north of I-285 when he walked in front of a pickup truck at 5:10 a.m., according to Doraville Police spokesman Gene Calloway.
The victim was then hit by two tractor-trailer trucks and another vehicle. Police believe the man was killed on contact with the first vehicle, Calloway said.
The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of the family. No charges are expected in the accident, Calloway said.
