Doraville man arrested, charged with downloading child pornography

The DeKalb County Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit has arrested and charged a Doraville man with sexual exploitation of children.

Benjamin Miller, 37, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 5, at his Doraville residence, 3214 Valley Bluff Drive #288, following a proactive online search by ICAC detectives.

According to DeKalb County Police, during the investigation detectives uncovered an extensive amount of downloaded pornographic videos and photos of children.

Police officials said detectives have not determined whether Miller is responsible for producing any of the images; however, police are concerned since he had regular contact with children.

Miller is a self-employed photographer who photographs child models and helps create portfolios. Additionally, he developed and maintained several photography websites.

Miller’s first court appearance was on Jan. 6. He is currently being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.

Anyone with information in this case is encouraged to call the ICAC Unit at (770) 724-7710.
