Judge finds probable cause in molestation case

A Magistrate Court judge on Aug. 9 ruled there was probable cause in the molestation case against Casey Thomas and the case was advanced to DeKalb County Superior Court.

Thomas, a former Miller Preparatory Academy instructor, is charged with seven counts including child molestation, aggravated sodomy and cruelty to children.

During testimony in the probable cause hearing, DeKalb County Police Department detective Jacqueline Robinson described how the three students were molested. Robinson testified that some of the boys went to Thomas’ home where they were given drugs and alcohol.
